On Friday 13th November Somerset County Council launched the Somerset Autism Collection. A collection of books specifically to help and support children, young people and adults with Autism and to inform parent carers. The collection (40 books) are available in Bridgwater, Frome, Taunton, Williton and Yeovil libraries,with selected titles available at all libraries but any library local to you can order in any of the books in the collection for you, free of charge.

Tina Emery - Vice -Chair was there at the launch, which saw the NHS and SCC come together and a speech was given by the County's Young Person's Champion Shane Dangar, who has Aspergers, about the collection.

Somerset Parent Carer Forum will have a selection of the books to loan our members.
